Definiton on Orphan

Orphan

Means a small orphan children
who does not have parents, whether male or female, whether the grandfather or not.
Including the little boy out of wedlock son and daughter who were denied by reason of li'an between husband and wife.

However, Malaysia's Malay community has another term
that is meant as orphans who have lost both their mother and father, even though this term does not exist in Islamic law. The orphan is a child who lost his father, or both while it is small or not yet reached puberty. Islam bequeathed humanity in order to make good relations with the orphans, such as providing protection and education as well as providing for their rights
