It's Raining Money A retold story By Artie Davis Jr. My Maternal Great Grandmother Lucy Odessa who died in 1974 witnessed a very odd event. She was a passenger in her friends car when they had to stop for a red light. There was a truck in front of them. Soon, the light turned green, and the truck started to move. The back door of the truck sprung opened and paper money fell everywhere. They did everything that they could to stop the truck, but nothing worked. The truck was gone, and my Great Grandma was in complete shock! They stopped the car and gathered all of the money from the street and the curb. They had never been able to get money from all over the place! The collected over $400.00! They continued on their shopping trip. They had a very good time with their money. I wish that that would happen to me sometimes!
