Sound the Alarm A retold story By Artie Davis Jr. My dad was born on March 17th 1958. His name is Arthur Davis. He went to P.S. 217, P.S. 152, JHS Andries Huddie, Midwood high school and the NYC Community College. He was a stock boy, a diamond district worker, a Mcdonalds worker, a bank clerk and now he is a mailman. In 1989 he married Patricia Odessa. In 1991 Arthur Davis Jr. is born. My dad was working at the bank. He looked over at the other guy working there. He looked worried. My dad saw something hidden under the clients arm. Then he saw the other worker take all of the money out of the bank! (Can you see where this is going?) My dad did not know what to do. He looked at the door. There were people waiting to help carry the money. Then my dad remembered the secret alarm. He pushed it. The robbers ran with a sack of money that the other clerk gave him. The cops went to the bank and saw the robbers running. The police chased the robbers. The robbers were running so quick. My dad was running with the police. After running and running, the robbers were not in sight. My dad and the police went back to bank. The police questioned my dad on what really happened. My dad told them that he was the one that hit the button on the alarm. The police told my dad that he was a hero! My dad started hearing cops talk on the walkie-talkies. He heard them say that they found the robbers and put them in jail. Once again, the police said to my dad "you are a true hero."
