Remember how the sky was blue
Remember how the grass was green
But the only thing pretty was you?

Now the time has gone
And I didn't pass the test of time
I still remember when our eyes first met
And how I thought that you would be mine

Remember when you saw me smile
Remember when I thought you knew
Remember when I called you up
Wanting to confess that I loved you?

Remember how you made me laugh
Remember how you stole my heart
Remember how much I wanted you
Until life tore me apart?

Now I sit with different faces
Wishing that it wasn't true
Regretting the one thing that I didn't say
Which was that I loved you...
