King Kong was worshipped by the natives of Skull Island, an island permanently hidden by a bank of fog. On the island he fought other giant creatures like Pteranodons, snakes, and T-Rex's. Somehow, the island was stuck in time. Prehistoric creatures roamed the land, while the human natives built giant walls around their village to protect themselves. The most powerful of all these monsters was King Kong. The villagers sacrificed women to Kong to protect themselves, until American explorers came to Skull Island. The Americans saw Kong as a way to make money and captured him using his attraction to the blonde woman in their group. They took him to New York City and unveiled him as the Eighth Wonder of the World to thousands of people. Kong broke free of his restraints and rampaged through the city looking for the woman he'd fallen in love with. He eventually picked her up and climbed the Empire State Building. When he set her down, airplanes fired on him, mortally wounding him. He then fell off the Empire State Building to his death. Or so we thought. There is no documentation as to what happened to Kong's body. And a few years later he was found by a Japanese science team in the South Seas, but he was somehow larger and more powerful than before. When Godzilla reawakened and began rampaging through Japan, the Japanese drugged Kong and airdropped him to Godzilla's location. The two titans fought throughout the countryside leaving devastation in their wake. Kong had somehow developed the ability to channel electricity into himself to increase his strength. While Godzilla was tougher and had atomic fire breath, King Kong was much more intelligent and resourceful. The battle continued across Japan until they fell into the ocean. Kong was seen swimming away. The battle was a draw. Kong hasn't been seen since, but he may still be out there... |
