When I was a child, I received a Nintendo Entertainment System, and it changed my life forever. After suffering loss after loss to Bowser and that @#$% dog from Duck Hunt, I became obsessed with defeating my NES so completely and utterly that I would be hailed as its master! And so I played that poor system into the ground. There was a permanent indentation from my butt in the carpet in front of it. Eventually, I defeated Bowser and saved the Mushroom Kingdom, although I never could shoot that stupid dog. I am now a Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt Master. The skills I earned from those games have served me well over the years as I began my interests in games like Zelda, Mega Man, Sonic the Hedgehog, Halo, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and various other games. I have become a master of platform gaming, dungeon crawling adventures, and (thanks to Duck Hunt) an expert sniper.
