when not busy with other things, i have an unfortunate habit of messing up music that other people have made. maybe one day i'll snap out of it. everything's rather brief. i do not have the luxury of repeating the same thing over and over again for six or seven minutes like some people do in a remix. due to restraints put on me by my computer, i have to get everything i want to do done in under three and a half minutes. anyway, since tripod stopped letting me do anything to the site, i'm putting the new exciting noise on this site. i suggest using the 'open link in new window' or 'save target as' options because the window closes if you don't. at any rate... enjoy.
there's a lot more songs that i didn't put on either site because i'm running out of room. of course, you could always e-mail me about obtaining a cd with these and many more sad excuses for remixes. or just to make snide comments or petty conversation.

if you are not impressed with these selections or are so impressed that you crave more, there is the original page at the tripod impossible pictures site. nothing too impressive, but i understand the no doubt track has made it all the way to brazil (what's up bruno?). big surprise to me.
mario's honey - this is a mix of a song that i really liked off of moby's play cd. and a public enemy song that ben had on cd. and a fatboy slim song that jonathan had on cd. and super mario brothers theme thrown in for good measure. it was supposed to just be moby and public enemy, but things just spiraled out of control. whatever... enjoy. or don't. whatever. (to the right, a picture inspired by this song, created by scorn dragon on the moby.com message board. many thanks. i am quite flattered.)
also, there is a page of original music up there, too. that would be here. i doubt anyone outside of the people we forced these songs upon has ever listened to more than one of these songs on purpose. i'm partial to the 'satan is white' instrumental. something about the sound of a ukulele always appealed to me. i'm trying to get the techno remix of that one ('how satan got his groove back') back online, but tripod hates the impossible pictures site and will no longer allow me to update anything... whatever.
madonnadeth - madonna's "justify my love" put together with megadeth's "skin o my teeth." rather brief, but i like it.
hunny part 2 - (the same mobysong except this time featuring snoop doggy dogg, beastie boys, temptations, the meters, and gorillaz). it's the evil twin of part one, i guess. there were so many songs with the same tempo as "honey" that i couldn't let them all go to waste. rather than delete them all to save disk space, here is a bit of what normally would have been thrown away. it doesn't flow as smoothly as the other one. it just cuts really, no transitions, but it's all good. i like the temptations and the meters bits the best. (the meters are the awe-inspiring funk band)

I just spent three hours on my sluggish dial-up connection downloading the full version of ACID 4.0 (a popular music editing program) and i had to install a new directX runtime whatever to do it (an additional fifty minutes), but i'm about to start using it. a waste of time? maybe, but at least i can slow things down and speed them up again. now that i have soundforge, i'm really in effect. i'm not working on new musical stuff, but i'm doing some spoken word stuff inspired by the ecc (evolution control committee) (more tracks that inspired me are up at detritus.net)
madonna on ice - finally, several weeks after its completion, vanilla ice vs madonna is online. "ice ice baby," and "vogue." with momentary percussive assistance from jamiroquai and the meters. enjoy.
"ben's relapse" and "narcotics anonymous" are both offline right now to save disk space.
