Environment lll consists of two motorised works simulating the motion of skipping ropes, situated in the staircase block.  The narrow space allows for only one person to ascend/descend.  The works move with their own preordained movement to punctuate the space and time with a slow rhythm.  The participant engages the work as they pass over/under them.

Darshana's  works create  situations in which everyday patterns are removed from their contexts forming new rituals that focus on the act rather than the end product or purpose.
