The Bracey-Demaree-Mungo-McDow Families

The Demaree Family originated from the Yoruba tribe of southwestern Nigeria. With connection to the Oyo, Ife, and Egbo tribe, the Demaree migrated to the United States where they became a free black family. The family expanded into families such as the Lockharts, Rawls, Mitchells, Parkers, Hyman, Garys, Rivals, Moodys, and many others. These are the families of Roger Gary.

The Mungo family is a family that originated probably from Cameroon who became the slaves of Lancaster, South Crolina. With many caucasion lines that exist, the Mungo family is a family of many centurions, including Easter Mungo who lived be 110 years old. This is the family of Gladys Mungo.

The Huey-McDow family are a stern, outspoken family that come from North and SOuth Carolina at the northwest border.
