The tomb was empty! For the forty days following his resurrection, Jesus appeared to the eleven remaining disciples and over five hundred witnesses. Then he ascended into heaven. Without the resurrection, ther would be no hope for humanity. It is the ultimate proof that Jesus conquered sin and death. Take time to consider the meaning of the resurrection for your own life.
