The Holbrook Family Reunion was held from 15 June to 18 June 2000 at the Greenlee CampGround and Marina on Cherookee Lake in Tn.
This was the first time this many of us have gotten together for a reunion in many years.

The award goes to my brother Randell for driving the longest distance this year. He came from Broken Arrow, OK, and pulled a fifth wheel camper!

Thanks to John and David for doing virutally all of the organizing to ensure we all had a good time.

Tracy, Morris, JEB and Dustin were the first to arrive. John and his family arrived, as did David and Jenny with Mom arrived about 2 P.M. on Thursday. Chuck and his family arrived from Hobart, In about 6 P.M and Dean and crew came in about 9.P.M. after a very long two days of driving.

We set up camp,(tents and a cabin)and caught up with all the family information with everyone and just relaxed. Mom of course woke everyone up at 6:30 the next day and after a good breakfast by John we headed to the lake. With David's Bass boat, John's Phontoon and the Phontoon that we rented, there was plenty of room for everyone.

RAIN! We worked through the rain and had a good time. Fishing, swimming and tubing filled the day. Didn't catch any fish so we had to relay on the store. John is actually a decent cook!

We went fishing at night, again didn't catch anything. Although I did feed the fish a lot of worm and minnows. I was getting a bite!

The next day, we did more of the same, except me and Matt caught some (1) fish. Jesse caught two I believe.

David tried to kill everyone by pulling them on a tube with his boat! We were all sore and showing our age that afternoon. Still no fish! As we pulled up to the dock we were greeted by CB, his girlfriend, Angela Little and her son, Gage, they had drove from Whitesburg to be there for a few hours. That was really great of them!

We took a lot of pictures of everyone together, some of which will be posted on the site later, and cooked hotdogs and hamburgers again.

Dean had to leave that night because of the long drive home. He missed out on the roasted marsh mellows and smores.

Up the next morning, cleaned up, John cooked again, and we all were heading home by noon that day. All in all in was a good time had by all.
