NATIONAL SOCIETY Organized September 20, 1895 | Charter No. 155 Granted December 13, 1895
RAINIER CHAPTER HOUSE
Daughters of Rainier Chapter are members of the oldest and largest Women's Patriotic and Lineage Organization in the world. Our Chapter supports the National Society's objectives. We award medals and certificates for Conservation, Community Service, R.O.T.C., Good Citizen and Junior American Citizen programs. We support the DAR schools. Our members are involved in service to our veterans. We attend the local National Defense Luncheon and the George Washington Memorial Ceremony in February of each year at the University of Washington. Our Chapter has a special tea in February to honor students who participate in the American History contest sponsored by NSDAR. Also in February is our Patriots' Tea, where members dress in colonial costume. |
