What is Raven's Server?
This is an OpenNap based Server that allows for connections by users of various P2P clients including winmx, lopster, winlop, xnap and many others. It is a place for new and old friends alike to share files on spirituality, faith, healing, manifestation and more!

Who are these instructions for?
These instructions are mostly for current existing winmx users who have been sharing related files. However, this information contains all the information necessary for other clients to connect as well.
How does this work?
If you'd like to connect with other individuals searching for files about spirituality, faith, healing and such, join us at the OpenNap server.
If you click on the Network tab (top) ... then at the top you see Winmx Peer Networks... and Opennap Proticol Networks... we're under the Opennap side. You'll then click the "add" button near the top of the page.

Password is Needed. Pick something that you will remember. The server uses this to make sure that you can log in. If you leave it blank, it won't work. Also, Please check the box for Register the Username on the next login to the following email address. We don't care what address that you add into here, just so long as it stays the same, so the system can recognize you.
(Note: Later, if you have problems logging on to this specific link, you can try to use 7777, or 8881 in place of the 9871 above. This will help if you, or the server is having ISP issues.)
Click "OK" to close the info box.
Click on "RavenNet_WLC" and then click on Add (yes, again) and put in:

The other settings are the same as the above... you can use 9871, 7777, 8888 as your ports for this server.
Again Click "OK" to close the info box.
You should now see [RavenNet_WLC] with a [+] beside it.... or with a [-] if it just happens to already be expanded out.
Now click the [+] Next to "RavenNet_WLC" and you should see both urls that you entered in the info box. You can connect to either of these, although currently it is probably easiest to connect to the "ravenschat" one. Select the server name and click "connect" at the top to connect to the server. (The name goes from red to green)

Note: The nighthawkchat server [Currently Down] is a reserved server for registered and verified users and is not intended to remain open to the public. It is a backup resource for our dedicated group of "locals" as well as others we invite. Anyone is able to register and log in, but if you are not sharing spirtuality files, your nic will be removed and banned. Open sharing is what ravenschat and any future server is for!
Then - finding the chat room by clicking on chat..... then click on List Channels (at the top) and a drop down will offer you either WinMX PN or Raven's Server... select Ravens'
go into the AAAWILDCARDS room on there, and you can use opennap to browse and
download. Because it's a hosted server it will remain working if WinMX goes down again.
Note:
Due to certain Individuals, The AAA_WildCards_WLC Is an invite only channel... you'll know if you were invited :) The Network/Server Owners are frequently in there, and if you do not play nice, you'll be kicked from channel, and possibly from the network. We are sorry to have to do this, but thanks to certain individuals, it's an unfortunate neccesity.
Legal Disclaimer
The Minimum Shares that one must have is 250 files (>250MB in total size) for ravenschat server, if they are too small, will not count for shares, nor will Incompletes, The point of sharing is just that, Sharing.
If you need help with files to share, or to distribute your on personal work, contact server administrators for assistance with Legally Shareable files. Also, *Please*, if you See Files that are ILLEGAL to Share, Contact the Admins, so that the Files may be blocked, so that This server can Legally Remain In Operation. Also, those that only share their computer system files, or Their *PORN*, thinking that will get them in, Be warned, the ADMINS do browse other's files, and you will be banned. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
