Rudy
Based on the true story of Daniel E. 'Rudy' Ruettiger. He was determined to overcome all obsticles to fulfill his dream of becoming a football player for Notre Dame. Besides the fact that he was very small in statute he was also a poor student , this prevented him repeatedly from being accepted to the college, but he worked hard and eventually his dream became a reality. The film won the Heartland Film Festival's Studio Crystal Heart Award (David Anspaugh and Angelo Pizzo) and was nominated for the Young Artist Award for Outstanding Family Motion Picture - Action/Adventure. It was originally released on October 13, 1993.
