The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The fellowship begins to fall apart as the evil wizard Saruman continues to aid the Dark Lord Sauron in building a stonger, larger army in hopes of retrieving the One Ring. Hobbits Merry and Pippin have been taken hostage by the Orcs. Meanwhile, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli go on to the land of Rohan to worn the humans of the war that is heading in their direction and convince them to fight and join their cause. Without the fellowship to guide them Frodo and Sam are forced to follow the creature Gollum (who was once hobbit-like but the ring has turned him animal-like) to Mordor on the mission to destroy the ring. Again this movie has been up for, and won, way too many awards to mention so here is a helpful link for all those interested. The movie was released December 18, 2002.
