| "Fantasy Falls at Night" This work has just been comleted and is my sample for our Fall Retreat in Jasper. It includes cheesecloth, paint, ink, shiva paintstiks, needlelace, puff paint, gutta and angelina fibers! This quilt received a Gold Medal at the recent Great Canadian Quilt Show in Edmonton! | Hi! I teach art quilt classes and work at Quilter's Dream. I enjoy fabric painting, embellishment, threadplay and fabric manipulation. | This is my latest project, called "Sleeping Beauty". It is all paper pieced aka Ruth McDowell (what an inspiration!). The young girl is lying in a field of flowers with her cat, after her lover has jilted her and left. I am still beading parts of her and have added glitter to the cat to bring him out more. Price: $2000.00. |

| This is a hand-painted portrait of my daughter Sondra. It was inspired by a book by Bonnie McAffery. I incorporated threadplay and glitter in the picture too and it was a joy to do. |
