God's eye is on the sparrow
And I know he is watching over me
With a loving heart he draws me
Guarding my life, protecting
Keeping me free from the tempter's snare
If I listen carefully
I am sure He'll let me know
When there is danger up ahead
If I walk obediently
And do not stray
I'm sure my Lord
Will lovingly guard my way
He has a plan He desires to fulfill
It is the best one for me
So I do not want to forfeit the blessing
And not see it come true
There is no better place to be
Than the center of God's will
