| That Dream |
| The alarm goes off next to my head, I'm pulled from a dream that I don't want to leave. I hit the snooze and hope to slide back in, but the pieces back together my mind could not weave. I can remember from almost the end, he was above me and in my embrace. Our bodies were intertwined in a lovemaking pose, his moving with power and grace. Closer and closer he got to his final goal, each driving other out of their minds. Hot breath with breathless words in my hear, and one hand with my hair entertwined. His other hand was helping my body rise, pushing against his with a need-filled rush. Closer and closer he got to the end, and I along for the ride in a blush. Into me he let himself pour, and I felt our two souls become one. A cry he let out, and my name he said then, and I felt my whole self come undone. He let himself down slowly into my arms, and buried his face in my hair. Sweet kisses I left along his soft cheek, the time it was, I could not care. The buzz of my alarm went off then, pulling me out of sweet slumber. For the rest of the day, I could not think straight, that dream my thoughts encumbered. |
