Sin's Dark World

RPG

This is the realm of a post apocolyptic earth. Magic has resurfaced. the Apocolypse almost destroyed Humans, but they survived, and changed, and new peoples appeared on the earth. As is their nature, the peoples divided up the land, peacefully at times, bloody at others...In the Dark World, only the strong survive, and the weak are our staple.

Rules for unpermed chatters

1) Dark World is an RPG and will thus be treated accordingly. Those of you that enter for the purpose of chatting are allowed to stay, however, you shall not provoke a fight with a person that role plays and then badmouth them for role playing. If you wish to do that, you can leave the channel, it is obviously not for you. This is not negotiable and if any of the above actions are witnessed by a perm, it is their responsibility to warn you and if you insist on insulting the perm, they have the full right to kick, mute or ban you.
2) Dark World has a preset setting and scenery, so modifying this scene in any way without the use of role play is forbidden. This includes modifications like ceilings, so on and so forth. The topic of Dark World describes the place well enough for you to get a good idea of what is there and what isn't. The permanent operator currently in the channel at the point in time may call you on this and if you, the chatter, decide to argue the point, you may be kicked, muted or banned, since it is the perms full right to do so in accordance with channel rules.
3) Dark World is NOT a soap opera. If it was, we would have named it "As the Dark World Turns...". Since the name is not this and all three of the administrators of this room are biased against drama, we will request that any non RPG related drama be kept in dialogue or other rooms where it is permitted. If and when a perm calls you, the chatter, on this and you wish to argue the point, insult or otherwise ignore the perm, he/she has the right to kick, mute or ban you.
4) Keep all abusive language, which means language only intended on the emotional and mental harming of another user, in dialogue. This can cause cause drama, and according to rule three above, that is not allowed, so this is similarly not allowed in Dark World. Only abusive language permitted is abusive language resulting from role play and entirely in role play. Again, if you wish to argue this rule with a permanent operator in any way, they have the full right to kick, mute or ban you.

Rules for permanent operators and administrators

-In addition to the rules above, the permanent operators and administrators of the channel Dark World must...

1) Treat everyone equally and without biased. Your responsibility is to keeping the channel order, not shoving your 'power' around. *
2) Permanent operators are not permitted to ban, kick or mute whenever they want. People who are not frequent chatters in Dark World are still protected by the rules and only in violation of those rules can they be acted against.
3) Administrators of Dark World discuss the rules together and make decisions together, so if you have a complaint about the rules and have presented the flaws within in a practical manner, then the administrators will get together in a private room and discuss the issue presented. The administrators are not excempt from the rules of the channel as a whole.
4) Administrators CANNOT assign other permanent operators without discussing the matter with the rest of the administrators. **
5) If a user or operator has continuously and willingly broken the rules of the channel, the permanent channel operators and administrators may request that all other perms ban that individual upon entrance until the matter of their permanent ban can be discussed by the channel administrators.
6) If any person wants to add to these rules, contact a channel administrator and present your modification to present rules and/or new addition to the rules. * Only power a permanent operator has is that he/she cannot be kicked by unpermed operators and they have access to the ban and mute options, along with unbanning options. Realistically, the perms do not have any real sense of power and are there to protect the channel rules and uphold them. If there is a violation of this, chatters are requested to contact one of the channel administrators (Sincere, Razor_blaker, or AnArcist) and give the complaint with viable reasons. The person complaining must provide witnesses upon request to the actions of a permanent operator that are not following the rules. If an administrator is seen violating any of these rules or the above rules, use the same process as for a permanent channel operator and the matter will be discussed.
** If an administrator wishes to assign additional permanent operators, that administrator should make a list of the people they wish to perm and present them before the other administrators in a single hidden channel.
