He took us to a small studio apartment down town. The three of us didn't know what to expect.
We stood there and listened as he told us the evil in the world had been growing faster than usual. With the streets I grew up on, I already knew that. He told us that Lucifer was preparing to invade earth. He told us that everything that had happened to us was for training. My anger grew. "We have given up our lives for a training mission, you never asked us. You never asked Brently, or Torilonos, or Zebeidah! YOU NEVER ASKED US!!!" I screamed. I instantly went to Nightwolf form when I screamed. Then it hit again. My hair was white and glowing. My eyes lit to a blinding light. The light from my body was running the shadows from the wall. I had ascended again. To MoonWolf form. When I opened my mouth light seemed to come out. It was so bright that everyone had to shield their eyes.
I wanted to attack Michael. But I knew he was on our side even if he did destroy us. My anger grew with him. I could tell he was surprised by my power. I think they all were.
Janus placed his hand on my shoulder and his touch calmed me some. I came down from my ascension.
Michael told me he had a couple of surprises for me. Then he turned around and looked at a rather large door. When the door opened lightning bolts shot out and my heart lifted. Brently and Zebediah both stepped through the doors. They had both ascended. Zebediah became Bloodluster, and Brently, Master Druid.
There was a short rejoicing then Michael told me he had another surprise for me. Then I looked at a much smaller door. It began to open. I never expected what was going to walk through that door. I saw that long golden hair and those beautiful innocent eyes. I exclaimed, "Amanda! What are you doing here?"
"I am the Valkrye, trained by the Arc Angel Michael himself." Then without saying another word she kissed me. "I love you James, I have always loved you. I let you go because, I didn't know if you would survive the Warlord Wars. I was afraid you would be killed."
Then I stopped her and told her to kiss me again. I finally felt love again.
She held me tight then I looked at my friends. Then Michael said, "You have one month to train. Then Armageddon begins." Then he told us the battle plans. I didn't know what to think. We were a full team of six.
That night we went out. I was happy to have Zebediah and Brenlty back again. And my Amanda was back in my arms. Dear sweet Amanda. I never loved anything more.
Alexander raised a glass, "I propose a toast to the newly formed team. Myself, the bastard son of Satan, Amanda, the Valkrye, Janus, the giant. Zebediah, the wise, Brently, the elementalist, and James Dunn, the legendary Darkwolf. So here is too the DemonDoggs!" Then he raised his glass, and we raised ours.
