| Episode III: Fall of the Wise
Hard training was paying off. I trained against Zebediah and Alexander with both of them using their powers. Finally, I was talking to Zebediah and I told him I was ready. You cant, hell kill you! he said. If I dont, who will? I asked without thinking. I will! he exclaimed. He ran off and without my power I couldnt catch up to him. He was going to Doronkias cave. I knew what was on his mind. I couldnt stop him but I fallowed. I went through the gateway. This time it was different, the sensation turned into intense pain. No one without power was meant to go through that gateway. It reminded me of the magick ball Alexander hit me with. Suddenly a cool chill came over me. I looked up and realized I was back. I disposed of the guard again. I eventually found Zebediah locked in intense combat with Michal on a bridge over a flaming river. The fight didnt last long. Michal lifted Zebediah into the air by his throat. Before I could get up to the bridge Michal put his arm through Zebediahs stomach and then threw him into the flame. Screaming I rushed into combat with Michal. I attacked vigorously to no avail. He had me out matched. And my anger made my moves big. Finally I stepped back and remembered what my Sensei Master Llo Nygiet told me. Keep your mind clear, dont fight with emotions only skill. Dont plan your attack react to your opponents. With that in mind I fought with the upmost skill. Though I wasnt clearly winning I held my own. He couldnt read my moves with his psychic abilities. Finally, after a brutal battle I had defeated him. When I began to deliver the coup de gras, I remembered the words of the librarian. I turned bruised and bloodied, only to see Alexander standing there. I told him to let Michal live. Then I collapsed. |
