| Ascelin is the God of the Moon and the Husband of Heulwen. He is a kind God if not quiet. He likes to be alone where he can watch everything or read. He is the father of the two twin Gods Anwyl and Aleron. He was quite pleased when they came along but didn't spend much time with them as he wasn't the loving father type. He loves his wife and tries to spend as much time with her which is hard when she is always busy her self. He is the elder brother of Iorwen and Branwen. He tries to protect them as best he can but never really gets in the way unlike Aelhaearn. He never goes out drinking and always remains quite quiet at Council meetings. He occasionally speaks up and when he does he always speaks in a hushed tone. He is quite smart and always speaks up if he thinks there is a problem with an idea or if there is a flaw in a plan.
