| General: Giles also known as Ripper during his university days because he and his friends dabbled in Black magic and summoned a demon. He became a Fyarl demon when a 'friend' Ethan Rayne tried to get revenge. He also had sex with Joyce Summers (Buffy's mum) on the bonnet of a police car, when candy supplied by The Mayor made them act like teenagers! Rupert Giles was Buffy's second watcher and also the libararian of Sunnydale High School, that is until it was decimated by a fertilizer bomb after school graduation. He was fired by The Watchers Council after betraying them for telling Buffy secret information about her trial of combat, but still remained in Sunnydale to guide her. During season six he left because he thought Buffy wasn't facing up to her responsibilites, looking after Dawn and so on. He came back when a Coven in Devon told him a big power was rising in Sunnydale (Willow). He also played guitar and sang at the Expresso Pump (Cafe) sometimes. Friends: He never seemed to have any, because he took his Watcher duties so seriously.
