The pay he offers is 40,000 nuyen split between the entire team, all travel expenses paid.
Once we accepted, he explained how we were going to be flying to the city of anarchy, Berlin Germany, to Berlin Biotech and Medical Research. It's an AA company.
He gives us a briefcase to put in place of the contents in the safe.
Also, he adds that we have a SubOrbital waiting for us at Sea-Tac air port and to be there within 2 hours.
So, the team finishes up around the table, and Lone Wolf takes the briefcase. They all split up, head back to their places to get their supplies, and then meet up at Sea-Tac within 2 hours.
On his way there, Street Wolf calls his ex-ganger buddy Cougar, who is from Berlin. His friend says that the airport is ruled by gangs, but knows nothing of Berlin Biotech. Also, he explains how most of them are white-surpemacists and anti-meta-humanity.
They meet up at the airport, and meet their humanoid Johnson with two extra body guards.
They get onto the plane as soon as the other guys get there, and once aboard, the runners all start talking about how to do this.
Hangman calls Fixer to try and get a line on a van while Street Wolf tries to contact Street Devil. After he doesn't get through to Street Devil (as he is out on 'business'), he contacts Cougar.
Street Wolf asks Cougar about Yakuza Black Market, but he says he couldn't figure out where to get in contact with it.
Hangman has more success, and secures a line on a van with the Mafia.
The rest of the trip is uneventful, as the runners try to rest a bit, or run through some scenario's in their mind.
Finally, they arrive at Berlin. They exit the SubOrbital, and a wall of guards is there to escort them to the terminal.
The guards on the way to the terminal speak in German, speaking slang of the trolls. Street Wolf can speak German, so he takes in every word they say.
When they arrive at the terminal, they are faced by a metal detector.
Street Wolf steps up first, and the alarm screams bloody murder as he walks through. As a guard brings over a box, Street Wolf unloads several firearms, knives, clips, and other items. He steps through again, and the alarm rings again. After using a cyberware scanner, they decide he is ok, and tell him to do a ballistics test on his weapons and get his picture taken.
Hangman is next, after dropping off all his shotgun rounds, clips, and firearms, and the alarm squeals at him too. After running over him with a hand scanner, he is allowed to pass, and told to do the ballistics test and get his picture taken.
Shinobi places his back to the side of the metal detector, walks through, and doesn't set the alarm off. He is escorted into the back room, where he is forced to display the contents of his bag, then made to do the same tests as his teammates.
Lone Wolf goes next, and the elf passes through with the briefcase, without a sound. He retrieves his weapons, and does the same tests as his comrades.
Psycosis is last, and after offloading his weapons, he still makes the alarm yell. As he is finally allowed to pass, he makes a comment about turning off the safeties on his guns. As one of the guards moves to inspect, the guard acts as if he would flip the safety off. Before he does it, he glances at the runners, and thinks better of it. They let Psycosis pass.
Finally through the hellish metal detector, Street Wolf decides that they should move towards the parking lot, as Lone Wolf and Hangman each have a cigarette.
