DAVID E. WILLIAMS
Composer
Soundtrack composer David E. Williams has been described as "Barry Manilow's evil twin" (Jim Knipfel, NY Press), Liberace with a brain tumor" (Michael Moynihan) and "Andrew Lloyd Webber in the final stages of cerebral cancer" (Headpress Magazine, U.K.). Since the late 1980's he has mystified critics and admirers with his classically orchestrated electro-pop and lyrical humor so dark that it's not really funny.
Some might call it gallow's humor, but "gas chamber humor" is a bit more accurate for the mood of such cd's as A House for the Dead and a Porch for the Dying and I Have Forgotten How to Love You.

The Strike Zone is his first feature-length film score.
