| Name: Dark Archon Role: Ground Spellcaster Cost:M: G: Extra: Merge 2 Dark Templar Abilities/Attacks: Overload Possess Maelstrom Back Ground: The beings known as Dark Archon are manifestations of the dark Protoss spirit, 2 Dark Templar who have sacrificed their lives to bring about this weopon. So powerful is it, the creation of these seemingly unstoppable intities was outlawed in the Dark Templar society. Only in the times of most peril were they allowed... during the Great War with the Zerg. Although it is not known why, exactly, that the Dark Templar's Archon is so different than the Templar Archon, it is speculated that because the Dark warriors forced themselves out of regular Protoss society, severing the Protoss Communal Link by cutting away their psionic-sensitive nerve appendages, they drew their power from existance itself, and from deep within themselves. This unleashed powers unimaginable, and its final form being the Dark Archon, powerful enough to manipulate any being's mind and spirit, aswell as able to manipulate power ( ie, mana, electricity, etc.). |
