| Name: Artanis Age: 262 Tribe: Akilae Affiliation: Former Protoss Empire Rank: Praetor Designation: Scout Background: Artanis was elected to the rank of Praetor soon after the fall of the Overmind to complement Fenix after his defeat. Artanis is the youngest Protoss ever to achieve the coveted position of Preator, and is an excellent tactician and pilot. However, he strives to become as legendary a figure as Tassadar was, and his pride sometimes blinds him. Despite this, he was one of few Aiuran Protoss to readily accept the Dark Templar; it is not clear exactly how he lost them, but it is believed that he severed his nerve appendages as his first step to bridge the gap between the two societies. |
