Suddenly, the serene and beautiful water is interrupted.
A single drop of water falls endlessly from the sky,
Sending a nova of water from the center.
Cracks echo loudly from the sky.
Another drop. Another. Several more.
Chaos ensues, formed by the new threat.
Water is pouring everywhere, behemoths of waves
tumbling upon each other.
The terrified denizens of the water
are in a frenzy as lightning claws through their homeland,
gouging rifts of water in an effort to find its prey.
Slowly, as soon as it came, the storm dies down.
The winds slowly change, the lightning retreats into its cloud.
The waves, still intense, start to quarrel and attack each other.
Their energy is soon spent.
The waters become once again smooth, devoid of chaos.
Sanity is returned.
