Physical Info: Telarel has the same raven-black hair as her mother, Kemeryl, and both were pleased when her youngest child, Alaeryn, inherited the trait. Other than that, Telarel looks mostly different from her youngest, except for her piercing blue-gray eyes, which she can use to her advantage while trying to get knowledge into students� heads. Her skin is pale, not prone to tanning well; she�ll burn and end up not tanned much. She is rather slender, making sure she exercises daily to maintain her health.

Personality: Telarel has gained some knowledge of how to work with students through raising five magically inclined children of her own. She has learned many children�s tricks and how to counter them while keeping a straight face, thanks to her children. She is strict, not mean, though many students don�t perceive the difference, giving her the false description of spiteful and malicious. She simply expects her students to learn quickly, and corrects them when they make mistakes.
Telarel enjoys helping students after class if they�re having trouble on a particular area. She enjoys doing this, and never seems to understand why the students dislike spending extra time with her, learning. She also enjoys swimming and jogging, as she is an active person. She is adept at controlling her wind, water, and earth magic, and quite good at surprising a student prankster with a trick or two of her own.

History: Telarel grew up in the Academy, as a child of an Amethyst rider, Kemeryl, and a garnet rider, Larenas. When she was seven she started training, soon after her mother�s dragon had said she had magical ability. She befriended an amethyst Flame, Lavender, soon after becoming a student. A year later, at age eight, she befriended the garnet Flame Ruby.
Telarel Melded with aqua AzureWind at age seventeen. A young man from the class before her, Alemin, Melded with a copper dragon a little while before she melded with AzureWind. After a few years of being good friends, their relationship developed into something more, and they were married.
After her first child, Telanaera, was born, Telarel became a teacher. She enjoyed the work of teacher and mother and continued happily. Four more children and several years later, Telarel had gained a good amount of knowledge about children and students. She was immensely proud as she watched all five of her children grow, especially as all had magical talent.
The magical talent of her youngest son, Telarin, was discovered later than the rest of her children; his youngest sister by three years, Alaeryn, will probably Meld before he does. Telarel has confidence that all her children will eventually Meld; her family has nearly always had at least one dragonrider per generation, and good magical talent.
AzureWind, Lavender, and Ruby have always been helps in her classes, though Telarel has a suspicion that AzureWind plays more pranks than she admits to. Lavender and her mate Ruby have proved the opposite; although Ruby occasionally pranks, he and Lavender serve as extra eyes, watching for pranksters.

Personality: AzureWind is pleasant and kind, loving to be around students. Unlike her rider, she loves to participate in pranks, and has often confused her rider a good deal while Telarel thought it was a student playing tricks.

Physical Description: Ruby, also average-sized, is a deep, rich red. On his wings, the membrane is a paler red, the rest his normal shade.
Personality: Ruby is similar in personality to his mate. He prefers more pranks, but is usually quiet. He enjoys just lounging and looking around, and is rather good at making a class nervous by simply lounging on, say, Telarel�s desk and letting his gaze wander over the class.
