Personality: Quiet and reserved nearly to the point at being shy, Garret loves to read books and study hard. He tends to forget about social attachments while engrossed in a book.
History: Raised by his loving parents, they encouraged him to study hard. At age 8 he melded with a small Garnet Flame who pronouced him to have magic. He was whisked off to the Academy with his parent's blessings with hopes to meld with a dragon. During his third year at the academy, he chanced upon a falcon nest when the chicks were hatching. Unable to resist he took one of the hatchlings and raised it. During his 10th year at the Academy, he melded with a Garnet dragon. And decided to stay at the Academy to help teach the new students.
