Physical Info: Cygnus is a relatively average young lad, only 5' 9" and nowhere near strapping. Rather, he is on the lighter side: 90 lbs on average, and barely muscled. He has brown (bordering on black) curly hair that he keeps longer so the curls aren't small and tight. His eyes are a nice shade of brown and seem friendly enough, radiating life in an otherwise lacking body. He has pale skin and tends to cover that with loose brown trousers and a natural-hued tunic.

Personality: Cygnus is quiet, though a bit of a show-off at heart. He tries his hardest not to speak until spoken to, thusly refusing to make definitive friendships. He likes to keep to himself, enjoying the sound the breezes make while leaping through trees or the melody of cicadas and crickets chirping in the summer. He likes to drink in all of life with his eyes and tends to be rather gentle towards nature.

History: Cygnus was a sickly child. The doctors all said that it was a miracle that he made it through his first year. Somehow, he caught and lived through many horrid diseases as a child. When he was seven, he met the carpenter's son, Phillip, when he came with his Da to fix the leaky roof of Cygnus' house. Cygnus and Phillip were soon like two peas in a pod. They were rarely separated and tended to go off into the woods and track animals just for fun. They never hunted nor harmed any of the animals they found. Instead, they observed, left food (never near a settlement) and returned home. It was those days with Phillip that kept Cygnus going. He would get sick for months before he was well again and then the next thing that he'd do would be to find Phillip and they'd go off on an adventure together. It seemed as though a few days of happiness was worth a few months of illness. When Cygnus turned nine, he and Phillip found a young Flame trying to in the woods. Together, they observed it (even when Cygnus began to catch a horrid cough) until both parties decided to approach. The Flame, who revealed its name to be Brooke, had just set off on her own. She was trying to make a home for herself in the forest. Soon, the three became friends. The small Flame took a liking to Cygnus and stuck by him while he was sick. Two years and five illnesses later, Cygnus was sent to the Academy as a scholar. With him went the small Flame. He returned home every chance he got and rekindled the friendship he shared with Phillip. When he turned fifteen, he became a Candidate.

Personality: Brooke is nearly hyper-active, finding excitement everywhere she turns. She loves to soar high above the trees, but she will stay down low if Cygnus asks her nicely. She is shy and tends to hide about Cygnus when a new person or Flame is around.
