| Just a quick update. I'm about to jump headfirst into a week from hell. I have so much work due this week I think my head is going to explode, but I'll manage somehow. In the meantime I'll just "sand the deck". Sand the Deck is code speak I used on Kricket and Aaron when they asked why I didn't go see Scary Movie 3 with them last Friday. Hehe they called as they were driving to my house to see what was up. I don't think they bought it. Well, honestly, Sand The Deck means I'm playing Crimson Skies which is an awsome flying adventure game. If you have an Xbox, then you should have this game. There are not alot of great Xbox games out there so when one comes along you better grab it and hold on to it...at least until you beat it and need the trade in money (*cough*...KOTOR...*cough*). So far I am enjoying flying my weird looking biplane through an alternate 1930s and blowing the crap out of all of it. Hopefully, Aaron and Stevie will pick this game up so we can get some system link going. As for the rest of the weekend, it can be summed up in three words...Kricket's a punk. We went to Hooters 2 days in a row. How many times did he show? Zero! Nada! The Big Goose Egg! Nihl! Zilch! Zippy! I understand he was sick, but this weekend only goes to strengthen the argument that a phone is not just a convenience, but a valuable tool to keep your friends from getting pissed at you. A simple phone call to explain what was up on Sunday would have been nice. Plus the fact you said you were coming and didn't show. Kricket, get a phone damnit. And if you have one...use it. So next time I say I'm Sanding the Deck, don't get all mad because I'm not going out. It means I'm not feeling good and want to play games. Fair enough? Well today Christmas came early for me. I just got my copy of Naruto: Narultimate Hero delivered today. This game is Rated: All Up Ons as far as I'm concerned. I love the anime with a passion that borders on the criminally insane and this game has so much from the anime (opening, cutscenes, etc.). Now all I need to do is learn japanese and I'm all set. The gameplay is basically a mix between Power Stone, Project Justice (aka Rival Schools), and DOA. I think only Erka and I will be the only ones who ever truly appreciate this game. For those missing out on the anime...I pity you. You're missing one of the best all-around animes to come along in a few years. Berserk stays at #2 (Initial D is #1) on my list only because of the violence. If Berserk were more toned down it would be # 3 on my list of favorites. Anyway I probably won't get deeper into the game until this weekend. Erka, I'll make arrangements with Aaron to get you a copy this weekend too. Speaking of this weekend. I think Friday we might try to go to this Haunted House thing in the woods somewhere. If not we could just do a zombie movie marathon at my place Friday night. Due to work, I have no time to prep anything this year. I was looking forward to dressing up as Jason this year, but will probably go to the old Michael Myers or werewolf standby. Well, gotta go. I need some sleep to get ready for my own horror-filled week. Later. |
