| Well, I did say I would post up in less than two weeks. So here it is in all it's glory. Unfortunately I'm not sure I'll be posting up in less than two weeks the next time. The next two weeks are gonna be one of the busiest times of my life with work and everything else going on. However I will be ready to party down for Halloween so we should get to work on planning a shindig or something for that special holiday. This year I plan to go as Jason seeing as how I cut off all my hair and such. Speaking of which, I cut my own hair now. No, I don't style my hair. I simply cut it off using clippers. Don't have to go to barber college for that. You see last weekend I went to get my hair cut at the 'ol Hair Cuttery. I basically sat there for 40 minutes and was even passed over once for a call-in...that called in after I had arrived. One woman was getting her hair cut before I walked in and was still getting it cut almost an hour later. Needless to say I walked out with a stream of profanities following me (yup, everyone heard them). I wasted 40 min. on what would have been a 5 min. hair cut. However it all worked out. You see a hair cut there costs 14$. A set of nice barber clippers with guards and everything (combs, cleaning brush, oil for the blades, etc.) cost 15$ at Wal-Mart. Now I can cut my hair whenever I want and it'll cost me zippy. My first cut went fine except I had to throw the clippings in the trash even though I so badly wanted to throw them off the balcony ala American Wedding. I think that same weekend we went and saw House of the Dead. One of the worst films ever made. I laughed and cried from the pain. Afterwards Aaron, Stevie, and I couldn't even manage the energy to go to Hooters for half-price wings. The good thing about last week was most of the staff at my office went to our annual conference in L.A. so I had quiet office time. Ahhhhh...gotta love it when no one's around sometimes. The government folks got Monday off last week and I got Friday off because of the conference. Friday I vegetated and watched Identity and Dreamcatcher. Both films were a trip and I recommend renting them. I also rented Jak 2 for the PS2. It's really fun and has more adult tones than its predecessor. However there are some levels that will make you scream in frustration. Let me say this: I am sick of the layout of the city and am tired of navigating it to go get new missions. This is probably the only feature I would change. I don't think I want to own this but may give it another rent sometime. Next week is Crimson Skies and I'll be ready to go as soon it's out. Mmmmm...biplanes with rockets. And of course I have not forgotten Naurto. It's going to be a good week. To learn more about these games, here are some links: Naruto: Narultimate Hero Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge I'll post again after I've played Crimson Skies a bit. Later. |
