I'm baaaaaaack.  And now I'm in high-speed.  Got my cable setup Thursday night and have been cruising the net ever since.  Actually I've been playing SubSpace more than anything else (Click the link to learn more).  That game was like crack to me.  I played it back in the days of Diablo.  However the company that sold the game and ran the servers, Virgin Interactive, pulled thge plug.  Thankfully, due to the low system requirements of this game, there are a bunch of player-run servers out there these days.  So I'm back in the cockpit again and ready to kill.  You'll either find me in Dueling Zone or Trench Wars.

Last week was pretty boring so I won't waste my time talking too much about it.  Basically, I've just been slaving away for the man and living just enough for the city.  Haha New Jack City baby!  Now that's a flashback.  When I'm not slaving for the man I've just been playing the PS2 and not a whole lot else.  Money's tight right now so I didn't really want to do anything.  As for this weekend, it was just tame by normal standards.  Kricket stopped by Friday night to show of Otogi and some upcoming stuff for the Xbox.  Otogi looks nice (it is a Sega game) and Ninja Gaiden looks sweeeeet.  I will definitely be picking Gaiden up.  Otogi will be out next week and got a decent review so I'll say rental for now.

Saturday, both Kricket and Aaron dropped by.  For no known reason Kricket just hands me a 60 GB hard drive and a set of computer tools.  Weeeee.  I'm a big fan of free stuff.  And since I imagine it came from Kricket's work I can only say my tax dollars are well spent hehehe.  We watched Anger Management and I truly understand what Kricket and Aaron have been talking about.  Dave Buzznick is definitely identifiable with someone we know. It's uncanny how similar they are.  Granted the situations from the movie are exaggerated but still...damn it is him.  That movie was just not right on so many levels.  He gave a monk a wedgie.  That movie is definitely one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time.  After the flick we grabbed some food and started to watch Pirates of the Caribbean.  But I think we were all a little tired by then so we called it a night a little before 1 a.m.  Of course before they left, Aaron did install my new hard drive so now I'm all ready for some high speed download fun.

This week is all about Disgaea: Hour of Darkness.  I've been looking forward to this game for a few months now.  I'll be on strategy RPG overload this September with this game and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance coming out on the 9th.  And then of course this coming weekend we are invading Luray, VA and hitting the cabin.  This should be awesome.  A little canoeing, some hiking, maybe some swimming.  And obviously ALOT of BBQ.  Sung is bringing a projector.  I imagine both Aaron and i will be bringing multiple systems and I'll bring the hub.  Fun, outdoor activities by day, movies and games by night.  It's like the life I would lead if I were rich and didn't need to work.

Well, that's all the news that's fit to print right now.  I need to go get some groceries, clean my bathroom, finish my laundry, pay a couple of bills, and then get in some more SubSpace.  I'll post back up before we venture off into the woods.  Later.
