Steve Samsh!!!
Well the usual crew (Me, Kricket, Aaron, Sung, and Erka) went and saw the Hulk Firday.  To sum it up in one word: Good.  It wasn't too amazing and it started slow, but once Mean & Green showed up it was all good.  For about the first 30-45 min. I kept asking Kricket "Hulk smash? Hulk bash?" Eventually he did..oh did he ever.  All I can say is I want shoulders like his hehehe.  Of course Ang Lee did take some creative liberties and got a little too deep into the whole childhood trauma/abuse thing but at the same time his direction saved the movie from being too cheesy as well.  After the movie was over we were all pumped up Hulk-style and went to eat.  I realized as we ate dinner why we all enjoyed the Hulk so much.  The Hulk is truly the hero of males in modern society.  Why? Now more than ever men often have to repress their anger and "darker" emotions.  We have become more emotionally "wishy-washy" and brow-beaten into submission by feminists and advocates of political correctness.  We are surrounded by hypocrisy and a lack of common sense in modern society as we try to accomodate everyone.  It leads to feelings of helplessness and anger, which we then have to supress for fear our outbursts would get us in trouble.  I'm sure women have some of the same feelings, but they are typically more in control of their emotions and able to find more civilized ways of expressing their frustrations.  If men could, we would love to smash or destroy the sources of our day to day frustrations (traffic, etc.) without really hurting anyone or getting hurt ourselves.  And who wouldn't love the freedom that comes with being that powerful and nearly indestructible.  Whereas Spider-Man is the hero for the geeky science guy who never seems to get the girl and is picked on in life, I think more men in general could definitely identify with Bruce Banner and the Hulk.  Just my little psychoanalysis of the whole thing.

The rest of the weekend I spent in a state of suspended animation.  I did watch the Animatrix and The Recruit then played SoF2 quite a bit.  As for upcoming events,
28 Days Later opens this Friday.  Looks good and scary.  Also I believe we'll be doing a BBQ sometime this weekend.  Check the board for more info.  But for me, the highlight of this week will be the Initial D game for the PS2.  Can't wait to get my drift on in a game about one of my favorite anime.  Awwww yeah.  Later True Believers.

I'm pooped.  We went to Kings Dominion yesterday and had a blast.  It's been soooo long since I've ridden rollercoasters and I could feel it.  We started the morning with breakfast at Bob Evans and then headed out around 9:30.  I was riding with Erka and everyone else was with Sung.  About 2 or 3 miles down I-95, Erka and I felt a bump and heard a thud behind us.  We didn't think too much of it and kept going.  After about 10 or more miles Erka felt the car getting a little sluggish and it was getting worse.  After checking the rearview mirror he noticed his back end was shaking so he decided to pull over and check.  As he slowed down that's when we felt it...flat tire.  As we came to a stop the tire got chewed up and we were smoking.  We radioed Sung and told them what was up and they pulled over with us.  Erka got the tire changed and then headed back to pick up my car.

Now were all good.  The whole flat tire thing only set us back about 30 min. so we didn't really lose any time at all.  We got to park and Elise immediately had us heading for the Hypersonic XLC.  It was funny if you were to see us.  Here you see this girl dragging a bunch of guys around to all the different coasters.  Funny stuff.  After that one we hit the two wooden coasters and that's when my body started to give a little.  Wooden coasters just beat the crap out of you.  You're not only cruising around fast but being shaken the whole time as well.  All in all the only coaster I didn't like was the Shock Wave aka the Shock Nuts or Nut Wave.  Why? It's a stand-up coaster and one of the safety bars just happened to rest firmly
square on my nuts!!!  It was the same for Kricket too.  Everytime that thing came to a slight stop or slowdown you got a lovely smashing sensation on the 'ol crown jewels.  When it was over I thought I was going to be sick...with pain.  We hit some bumper cars where Elise was going after some kid and we all had a huge pile up as we all nailed each other.  Me and Aaron both went after Kricket for a T-bone but he managed to escape...barely.  The last ride I hot was the Drop Zone with Sung and Erka.  It was kinda cool but just not scary because since I'm a big guy I was firmly locked in so I didn't get that sensation of coming out of my seat.  Oh well.  All in all it was one of the best times I have had all year.  Pictures should be on the way soon.  I got my pic taken with Spongebob.  wOOt!!!!!

After we got back everyone follwed me to Gamestop where I picked up SoF2 then we went to my house and played it a little then ate while watching the Family Guy.  Sung and Erka both passed out eventually and then we wrapped it up as everyone headed home to get some rest.  After I kicked them all out I played SoF2 some more.  It's not that great, but ok.  I REALLY wanna try multiplayer since that was my first experience with it.

So that's what's been going on.  Tomorrow we're going to see the Hulk.  I hope it's good and not too philisophical or dramatic.  I just want smashing and bashing.  Later.

Muhahahaha!  Pardon my Photoshop skills on the front page there.  I just couldn't resist doing that.  That's right...it's Hulk Baby Zane!  Don't make him cranky.  You wouldn't like him when he's cranky.  He's got a sonic boom crying attack, super kick, and can crawl faster than a car in DC traffic.  He doesn't say "Goo goo" or "Ga ga", he just says "Grrrrrrrrrrrrr".  My dad was tickling him a little too much one time and Zane Hulked out and threw him across the room.  Not pretty.  Good luck, Sis.  Look at it this way, there are no kids that will be ever picking on him...except Leader Baby Cory or something.

That's right.  The Hulk is coming out this Friday and I'm all ready to go.  As for tomorrow and Kings Dominion, we will see when we wake up.  Right now the weather says rain is likely.  I hope they're wrong.  I really want to go.  If we can't go, I'll just curl up with some Solider of Fortune 2 on my Xbox and take out my frustration by blowing terrorist's legs off.

Not sure what else is on tap for this weekend.  They might be some plans of turning Aaron's fireplace into a BBQ pit.  This of course will rank as one of the
Top Ten Most Ghettofabulous Ideas of all time.  I'm not knockin' it.  In fact, it sounds cool.  But you gotta admit it's still Ghettofabulous.  If we do it I will most definitely be putting that pic up on the front page.  I will check back in after Kings Dominion.  Later.
