Just checking in as the war continues to rage online.  Yesterday was probably my best day on so far.  Mostly because I was fortunate enough to play against a larger quantity of nOObs (yes, I used the "n" word) than I had previously.  It also due in large part to a change in tactics.  Yesterday I mentioned my use of the chain gun.  Well, those days are over.  Let me introduce you to my new best friend for close combat, the T-GND.
Basically this weapon fires a spread of 3 proximity-detonated grenades that not only hurt on direct contact, but also supply a little splash damage for enemies that are bunched up.  After my first time using these and scoring a very quick kill, I was instantly hooked.  I now carry only one main weapon (a 315 SB) and THREE T-GND launchers.  Basically ?I view the T-GND as a shotgun.  With this weapon and the large nOOb turnout last night, I scored an average of 3 kills per match.  It was so weird telling my teamates that they should stick together while I run around solo and kill.  Only a day or two ago I would be the guy looking to stay in a group.  ?Just to be clear I wasn't out looking for nOObs.  I was teamed up with some in an earlier match and I helped them beat some guys with the same rank as me.  Then they put me on their friends list and invited me to two more matches where the nOOb count was high.   I was in two matches with Kricket.  We won one of them I believe and the other was so lagged we were actually dropped mid-match.  After that we had trouble getting together for other matches.  But all in all it was still a good night for me.  I'm still upset with the servers, rare VTs, and clip dumpers.  But I'm at a point where I can deal with these problems.  And now instead of a scared and frustrated player, I'm just a jaded and dangerous player.  Here are some screenshots of some Scare Faces in action.  Thanks to SBC (sbc.pippin.us) for all the images.
