THE PLOT: Thundarr and company ride through a foggy forest until they hear the cries of a human. They come upon a group of Groundlings (human/rat hybrid) interrogating an old man by the name of Tyron. Thundarr and company take care of the groundlings with ease. The older man tells them he was delivering a black pearl to the humans on the isle of Manhatt (Manhattan). It once belonged to an evil sorcerer named Gemini. Thundarr and company decide its best if they take it to it�s final destination. After they leave the Groundling�s leader checks in with Gemini who is furious about the pearl getting away again.
Thundarr and company make it to Manhatt and quickly come under attack by the Groundlings who drive bikes into battle. Thundarr sends Ookla and Ariel ahead while he deals with the Groundlings. He easily dispatches them again under Gemini�s watchful eye. Gemini promises punishment on the Groundlings and takes an army of mechanical knights with him to catch Thundarr. |

Thundarr and company explore the subway in Manhatt which see Ariel abducted by Gemini�s minions. He casts a spell on Thundarr and Ookla when they attack. Ookla is frozen but Thundarr is unaffected due to the power of the pearl. Thundarr and Ookla battle through Gemini�s k nights and find a helicopter they flew in on.
After figuring out how to fly, they head off to Gemini�s fortress. While Ookla takes the controls on the helicopter, Thundarr busts in on Gemini. Ariel uses her magic to seal Gemini�s mechanical mask and Thundarr helps her escape from a cage. Thundarr and Ariel try to flag down Ookla in the helicopter. Ookla however gets mad when he can�t figure out how to land and crashes the helicopter. However, Thundarr and company make their escape while Gemini swears vengeance |

| Thundarr and company ride back to Manhatt to find Tyron and the rest of the humans waiting. They are greeted as allies but this is quickly interrupted when Gemini arrives to wage war. Gemini uses his sorcery to bring the fallen Statue Of Liberty to life. The Statue uses its torch to spread flames at the humans. When all is almost lost, Thundarr throws the pearl at the statue which causes Gemini�s magic to cease. Although the wizard is thwarted, Thundarr laments over the destruction of the pearl. However Tyron assures him that the humans of Manhatt will try to build another protective force against evil. The show ends with Thundarr and company riding out of Manhatt with the Statue Of Liberty standing in the background. |
