CARTOON: Thundarr The Barbarian
EPISODE: Portal Into Time

THE PLOT: The show starts with Thundarr, Ookla and Ariel planning on a nice long rest. However, they are attacked by a bunch of creatures in tanks. They note that the creatures are heading to a fortress up on a hill.
The creatures are attacked at first by something they call �The Guardian� which consists of several orbs that destroy their tanks. The Guardian out of nowhere stops working but luckily for the fortress, Thundarr and company help to take out the creatures.
It turns out the fortress is the Alamo and there are people inside. They tell Thundarr about The Guardian and how it protects them. However, the main unit has a computer chip that has blown and they don�t know how to replace it. They tell them that the wizard Krom is nearby and will easily take them over without the help of The Guardian. Luckily, they know that Krom has access to a time portal in which Thundarr and company can use to go back and time and secure a computer chip. |

Thundarr and company storm Krom�s base and after taking out a few guards find the time portal. Ariel opens the portal to 2000 years before when earth was still civilized. Krom arrives and tries to stop them but Thundarr and the group make it through the portal. Unfortunately for them Krom follows and turns the subway car into a snake monster. During the battle, Ariel saves a girl named Samantha. Thundarr is finally able to take the monster out and Samantha allows the group to go back to her house for rest.
Samantha helps the group find a computer company in the yellow pages. Thundarr and company storm the computer plant and make it to The Guardian which would turn out to be the protector of the Alamo many years later. A few guards come in but Ookla scares them off. Ariel grabs a replacement chip out of the machine and the group head back to the portal. |

| Leaving Samantha behind in the past, they make it back to the current time. Thundarr takes out the time machine once and for all so Krom can no longer get weapons from the past. When they arrive back at the Alamo, the group there have been taken over by Krom�s minions. However, Thundarr wrestles Krom to the ground and Ariel successfully restores the chip to The Guardian. This causes Krom�s forces to crumble and restores freedom and protection to the Alamo�s inhabitants. |
