My shrouding is a happy one,
Full of giggles and delight.
I keep it on the whole day through,
But true form comes out at night.

The giggles turn to requisitions,
The cries that come from pain.
The delight is shifted elsewhere,
But what does affliction gain?

Nobody can improve me,
On how I think and feel.
The people that seem to damage my life,
Somehow think they can heal.

Ones who taunt and panic me,
The ones who laugh and stare.
You people who are vexing
Just don't seem to care.

Life is hard enough as it is,
To have to lie about who I am.
