'Shopping, Sex and Fruitcake' was written for a challenge.

The challenge requirement was that at least 7 of the things
on a given list of 25 items/scenes had to be worked into the fic.
Writers were allowed to fit them in however they wished.

This is the list of required items for the challenge in 2006.

1. A large green basket full of gold and red bows.
2. A small Red Eyes Black Dragon wearing a Santa hat.
3. A lost elf.
4. An uninvited guest with a gift.
5. Mokuba hunting through the mansion trying to find where Seto hid his Christmas presents and discovers Seto's secret hidden stash of: (the writer fills in what Mokuba finds).
6. A winter storm.
7. A puppy wearing reindeer antlers.
8. An explicit holiday themed manga.
9. A gold rose with a red bow.
10. Exploding chestnuts.
11. A well sculpted, over endowed, anatomically correct blue eyed snowman, wearing one of Seto's old trench coats and duel disks.
12. A vibrator that looks and smells like a peppermint stick.
13. An anonymous gift of an adult themed advent calendar that has anatomically correct chocolates and other small items like sample packs of lube, cock rings, silk blindfold, massage oil, body paints, etc inside of it.
14. Someone receives a plastic lump of coal and a wooden paddle in a stocking.
15. A singing, dancing Christmas tree.
16. A five pound fruit cake that everyone keeps rewrapping and passing on to someone else in an attempt to get rid of it.
17. A four foot Christmas card.
18. An old wrinkled misplaced letter to Santa discovered in the back of someone's closet.
19. Someone accidentally gets locked out of the house (or apartment or hotel room, ship cabin, etc.) while wearing nothing but a bathrobe or a towel.
20. A sleigh stuck in the snow or mud.
21. A flaming chicken.
22. A traffic jam caused by a moose wearing a red and green jingle bell harness.
23. Seto is jumped by a crazed fan girl (or boy) holding a clump of mistletoe.
24. An invitation to go to a Christmas play.
25. A Christmas tree stuck in a doorway.
