i often think about colors and their meanings in my head... read and confer.. if you would like to, at the bottom of the page tell me what "abnormal" meaning or feeling a certain color gives you. enjoy!

*yellow* what does the lovely color of yellow make you think about? most people think of sunshine, the beach, summer weather and other happy things like smiley faces etc.... but look at yellow another way and it makes you think of sickness, piss and getting punched in the face... all of this is basically the polar opposite of what yellow makes you think about. |
| *white* white is a simple beautiful color, often identified as the absence of color, which may be true, but for the purpose of this website it is a color. when you see white, do you see big puffy clouds, unicorns, white sand, cotton sheets, warm socks and marshmallows? that's what most of america sees when they think of white... have you ever been to the orient? white is the color of evil there, so at weddings they wear black to ward off evil spirits. in the east, white is nothing but trouble. |
*pink* do flowers, easter, bunny rabbits, spring time and strawberries come to mind when you think of pink? well, that's normal. but how would you like to have pink steak and hamburgers? that's nothing but salminala, or how about pink-eye? or a nice pink rash covering your body? |
| *red* this a little opposite from the colors above... when you see red you probably think of blood, violence, volcanoes, lava, bombs and the works, but you might ALSO think of love, romance, candles, sex etc... BUT when does red ever make you think of indians? red corn? and apples!? HM?! |
*blue* "america's favorite color" why? because it suggest liberty, freedom and... justice for all? not nessecarily, how about, it makes you think of the ocean and drowning... but it can also make you think of the sky... depending on which shade of blue your talking about this highly controversial and well-liked color can make you think of many things. |
| *green* often identified with the forest, jungle, trees and frogs... green is a peaceful and serene color. but on the other hand you can identify it with all those silly hippie-like miscrients smoking the marijuana plant. it also can make you thing of money, greed, fortune and the board game "monopoly". |
*orange* another well liked color, orange seems to be the route of all happy and bright things, like yellow it makes you think of the sun, but orange also makes you think of oranges and giraffes, and sometimes orange tabby cats... but what the bad side to orange? how about pumpkin smasher gangs? and those scary halloween movies? |
| *purple* purple tends to make me, personally, think of war and purple hearts, it's a morbid color of death, but most of you silly children think it's a pretty color. it is a flag for zombies and the undead to eat you. purple is an evil color used on most morbid things. it is the color of your blood when you slit your wrists and it a color of death. but most kids think it's pretty and associate it with "Barney the Dinosaur"... think of it this way, if purple was a good color there would have been a Purple Ranger, but was there, NO. |

*black* without a doubt, the most wrongly precieved color in america today, is black. black is a color that most people think of as morbid, when the color for that is really purple. when you see a kid wearing black, what do you think? i'm guessing 9/10'ths of you would think they were antisocial, gothic and sucidal.. this isn't the case at all. black is a slimming color which is probably half the reason teens wear it seeing as adolescent body image these days is at an all time low. but anyway, black is a shy color, a different color and another color precieved as the actual abscence of color. in the east, black is worn to ward off evil. but basically in all of it's glory black is a color of shyness and hiding. |
