Ronin was once a respectable Captain of his king's army. That was until he was framed for the murder of King Frederick and banished under penalty of death. He seeks out his rival and arch-enemy Akira Rioki, the true murderer of the King, who served the greedy King Peter. After losing his beloved fiance sacrificed herself to save him from an ice spear fired from Akira's Ice Dragoon magic, Ronin's quest for revenge took a severe turn.
After days of searching for Akira, Ronin came across a small round gem, the color of a ruby. When he picked it up, the gem shined brightly, and Ronin was chosen by the Fire Dragon spirit within the curious gem, to become a dragoon. With new armor, wings, and the ablility to cast Fire magic, Ronin knew he could face Akira in a fair fight. Ronin can not use these new abilities unless he changes into this new Dragoon form (which he only uses fo battle). Along his travels he stumbled across a band of warriors calling themselves the "Bahumutian Legion" and was accepted almost immediatly by their leader, Reon Balisty.
Ronin is also the beloved guardian of Amanda Sever, the summoner. His fighting style includes his glaive, fire magic, and flight. As well as the ability to control certain dragons like the spirit that bonded to him.
