| 1. Gretchen experienced the tangent universe as someone destined to die, and part of her experience of it was as the dead (just like frank), and so she knew "all" 2. Rose experienced the tangent universe, in my opinion, in a fully waking state, much like donnie did, because the engine did not come off of the plane in the standard universe. What actually happened is that the plane itself travelled back in time at the same time as donnie travelling back at the end. Which is the turbulence they encountered. So it was as if she was forced to live that space of time twice, and she may as well wave, because she know some freaky crap was going on. 3. All of the people that donnie knew were manipulated by his actions in the tangent universe and so "remebered" the curcumstances in that time period, even if it was just as a dream. And about Mr Monitoff (physics teacher) being killed by universal forces, I disagree. I think he was killed by the FAA trying to cover up what actually happened. Because; 1. The FAA found out about the copy of the jet engine in '91 2. He was run over by a black sedan (total gov't car) in '91. 3. He had worked for NASA 4. He Obviously knew what was happening 5. He had "philosophy of time travel" sent to the Library of congress upon his death... so "THEY" would never find it. |
