| Mona is one of the women imprisoned at the Cook County Jail. She was sent to jail because she murdered her husband, Alvin Lipschitz. Al was a painter and got along very well with Mona (Mona likes artistic men.) but then Mona finds out that Alvin has been cheating on her with three women: Ruth, Gladys, Rosemary, and a man named Irving.
