| Billy Flynn is the best female defense attorney in Chicago. He hasn't lost one case our a female client ever. All of the girls want him, but there is a catch: You must give him $5,000. Velma has plenty of money and gets Billy right away, but Roxie's husband, Amos isn't quite as rich. He only seems to get $2,000 for Billy but Billy finds a way to get the rest of it. He and Roxie then start to deliberate and create a story that Roxie studied to be a nun and was swept into the relationship with Fred Casely by the big world of Jazz and liquor and that she only shot him in self defense. Then Roxie fakes being pregnant and later on fires Billy Flynn because he is telling her too much what to do. Roxies then begs Billy to take her back after seeing the Hunyak die and Billy accepts under one circumstance: she does whatever he says. "You're a phony celebrity.
