| The Bandleader is the announcer of the show, he announces every musical number and also plays the piano. When Roxie is looking for a job at the end of the film, the Bandleader is playing the piano at her audition. He is also the mic at the Onyx Club and at the theatre where Roxie and Velma perform their last number. There are sort of two worlds in CHICAGO, the real world and the magical, dancing world that is inside of Roxie Hart's imagination he is sort of Mary Sunshine's counterpart in Roxie's imagination, he is the announcer.
