The history of one of the most elegant supernatural creatures is a very confusing and contradictory one. It is said that the first leopards originated from a tribe of warlocks and medicine men in the jungles of Africa as some kind of voodoo ritual so that there people could further hunt for food and have the quickness and the agility of one of the jungles most precious animals. Unfortunately for them they accidentally bewitched the wrong man and when he changed into a leopard he attacked many of his people, therefore infecting them with a disease.
Much of the history of the leopards after this point is lost, until most of the hierarchy was found to be created and arranged in Nigeria and France, suggesting that the quest for discovery of a new land also brought different kinds of horror in the form of lycanthropy before it was properly controlled.
As a leopard you will hold a special place in the city seeing as you would be Mistress Aliyannahs animal to call, it is expected that the pard co-operate with the lukoi and with the vampire clan to create a peaceful existence.
Wereleopards, unlike their counterparts do not believe in a lone hunting or living alone, preferring to form a sort of pack which is called a pard. Much of the same information for werewolves carries over to their feline friends, including an adversity to silver and vampire bites, as well as wounds cause by other lycanthropes will heal slowly. There is a gathering with the moon that all are expected to attend.
There is also certain roles that must be filled in order for a pard to be complete.
Nimir-ra: The leopard Queen, the mother of the pard in a way, not typically necessary but a nice role to have around.
Nimir-raj: The Leopard King, not completely necessary for the pard to survive, just like the leopard Queen.
Lopard Lionne: The leader of the pard who actively protects and guides the pard, not needed if there are Nimir-raj and Nimir-ra.
Rampant Leopard: The protector or bodyguard of those in the pard, much like a Skoll or Hati.
Lion Passant: The pard leader who is not necessary in his duties for protecting and leading the pard. Considered to be a second of sorts.
When a leopard greets a dominant in private it is typical that they would lick the hand of the dominant however in public a simple kiss on the lips would do.
If a leopard wishes to gain protection from a dominant the leopard must move into the dominant without touching him/her and wait for the dominant to acknowledge him/her with a touch.
