MOVIES (CULVER CITY, CA, January 14, 2003) Internet users will be offered an exclusive first look at the first 10 minutes of Revolution Studios/Columbia Pictures' startling new suspense thriller "Darkness Falls" as part of a unique and exciting online premiere that will debut exclusively on Yahoo! Movies (http://movies.yahoo.com) tomorrow (January 15), it was announced today by Geoffrey Ammer, president Columbia Pictures marketing and Terry Curtin, head of worldwide distribution and marketing at Revolution Studios. On Wednesday, January 15, just after darkness falls (approximately 4:48PM EST), the spine-tingling first ten minutes of "Darkness Falls" will be available for viewing on Yahoo! Movies, where it will be shown exclusively for the next three days. After the first viewing, fans will have an opportunity to watch the footage again with a commentary from the film's director, Jonathan Liebesman. The "Darkness Falls" event will be promoted on Yahoo! In "Darkness Falls", Kyle Walsh (Chaney Kley) returns home to confront his troubled past and save his childhood sweetheart Caitlin (Emma Caulfield), and her younger brother Michael (Lee Cormie), from an unrelenting evil that has plagued the town of Darkness Falls for more than one hundred and fifty years.
