to check if there are any equines available for adoption \ sale, please go to the market or the orchard message post. note that you have to be a member at the market to adopt. horses may cost anything from 15 gp to 200gp. All depending on the horses background and colour. I have provided you with a list of colours in case you don't know much about horse coat colours. also, when ordering customs, you need to see what traits you can pick, see that here.
