Who, or what, you might ask, are Dark Muffins?  Here are some quick facts, in easily digestible chunks, for your reading enjoyment.

* Dark Muffins Productions is an anime cosplay group, which is currently based out of Jersey's Comics and Cards in Grafton, Virginia.

* Dark Muffins has been together officially since August 2001, when the group began rehersal for its first cosplay, performed in October of that year at Nekocon Flash!  However, the group had been together long before that, as a group of friends who met first for the drawing club, and then for the anime club at Jersey's on Sundays.

* Dark Muffins Productions takes its name from the Lenore lunch box.  There is a panel on it in which Lenore says, "Come, experience my dark muffins!"  We all thought it was cute, and, being the morbid freaks that we are, decided Dark Muffins would be a great name for our group.

* To date, Dark Muffins Productions has participated in 9 cosplay masquerades at 9 conventions.  Our most recent appearance was at Katsucon Ten in Crystal City, VA.  We try to hit the cons in the Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina region, since it's within easy driving distance for the vast majority of us.
